1980
Thanks to the leading entrepreneurial skills of the Peviani family, an internationally well-known and affirmed commercial group with an operational basis in Milan, and to the modern and forward-looking vision of the figure of Ennio Pavan, the new Pevianifrutta company is born.
In a very short time it becomes a reference point for the entire carrot chain.
1982
The company immediately aims for mechanical innovation, progressively increasing capacity and production efficiency, positioning itself as a leading and modern company.
1985
After the first years of activity, the company demonstrates a strong development by becoming a reference point for the territories that it presides.
The benefit goes to all induced, even at the occupational level.
1990
The European fruit and vegetable scenario lives a real revolution and many important distribution chains was born.
It follows a new way of working and to provide the customer that Pevianifrutta, thanks to its consolidated skills, has been able to interpret and satisfy.
1995
Pevianifrutta, providing for future trends in the sector, creates a new concept of supply chain by implementing a vertical integration with the world of agriculture. Investments in agriculture have been increased by controlling more the production.
2000
Towards the end of the 90s Pevianifrutta decides to tighten the bond with the territory of Ispica, building a new factory of 6.000 square meters among the largest in Europe in those years, designated mainly to the processing of carrots, innovative and equipped with the most recent technologies as hydro-cooling. Thanks to this investment, the company could expand its range of products with the addition of tomatoes and zucchini.
The social structure does not change, but Pevianifrutta shortens the name in PEF and implements a direct and strong commercial policy, acquiring new markets and new customers thanks to the generational replacement that was outlined.
2015
After years of deserved successes, Mr Ennio Pavan leaves the company's guide to his sons Massimo and Roberto, respectively as president and managing director. This event gave new impulse and new incitement to PEF and to all its staff.
2017
New design offices and new spaces are created at Chioggia establishment, making them comfortable and functional environments.
2019
PEF believes in the automation and develops a careful investment plan of Industry 4.0, implementing new processing and packaging lines in both Chioggia and Ispica factories. Efficiency, quality of work and speed of response increase, projecting PEF towards the future.
