Thanks to its specialization in the world of radicchio, our company wanted to undertake and develop the marketing of a product increasingly required by the market. We have introduced our technical skills and important investments, making sure that in a short time this product integrates significantly between ours. Thanks to careful planning and the choice of the best soils and the best production areas, we have been able to supply fresh sugarloaf continuously 12 months a year.
Also known as "radicchio di Milano", it belongs to the chicory family; although it resembles a salad, it differs for its taste that oscillates between sour and bitter. It is increasingly used in the Italian and foreign IV range industry thanks to its long life that allows it to reach distant destinations while maintaining unaltered quality and freshness.
Our company treats not only conventional sugar loaf, but also organic, thus satisfying the growing demand of this variety of chicory. In our factories it is washed and prepared, ready to be delivered as semi-finished for the food industry.
